Our Building

Our Building

Auburn Place was built in 1923 by Mr George Spencer who was a local businessman. In World War 2 the building welcomed evacuated children from around the country and the family have fond memories of playing in the local fields surrounding the house.

When George died the house became part of Lutterworth Grammar school and more recently was the school’s 6th form. We have parents who remember lessons in our children’s rooms and comment on how beautiful the building is.
Little Rainbows moved into Auburn place in 2018 and started a complete renovation and was officially opened by the granddaughters of George Spencer in October 2018 and his portrait hangs on our stairs kindly gifted by the family.
